PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — The Cohen Gallery at the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts presents an exhibition by The Bruce High Quality Foundation. Freedom will run from Thursday, May 2, to Monday, June 3, 2013. In conjunction with the exhibition, the artists will lead an invited student workshop and give a public talk on May 1, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in Martinos Auditorium.
Freedom will include 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional and mixed media works by The Bruce High Quality Foundation selected from a private collection and exhibited courtesy of the Cohen Gallery. As well as works from a private collection the exhibition will also include a re-make of the Limousine used in The Bruce High Quality Foundation’s month long tour Teach 4 Amerika in which they visited art schools nationwide questioning the future of arts education.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue with texts by Richard Fishman, Joachim Pissarro, Sandy Heller and The Bruce High Quality Foundation.
