For Independent 20th Century, Vito Schnabel Gallery is pleased to present Popping the Question: Andy Warhol Commissioned Portraits curated by Bob Colacello. Colacello was the editor of Interview magazine from 1970 to 1983 and like other Factory employees, he was encouraged by Warhol to sell his commissioned portrait paintings. The booth will include ten portraits, featuring subjects such as Keith Haring and Juan Dubose, Giorgio Armani, Jack Nicklaus, Judy Garland and Liza Minelli, among others.
