In St. Moritz, one can discover Jeff Elrod. The fifty-year-old Texan, whose paintings resemble pixelated screenshots, is counted amongst the post-internet artists. And yet he combines several traditions: the psychedelia of the beat generation converges with surrealist automatic painting. Despite a digital appearance, the paintings have a physical effect – and are almost an Après-Ski trip.
