Vahakn Arslanian (born 1975, Belgium) is an artist based in New York. Arslanian is mostly self taught, though has studied at the New School and the School of Visual Arts in New York. He has also been called a protégé of Julian Schnabel; the two have worked together since Arslanian was just five years old.

Fascinated by airplanes, Arslanian often works with discarded aircraft windows, breaking the glass and inserting small drawings into the center. Candles, birds and airplanes are often seen as recurring themes in Arslanian's work.
